Softshell didnt really hurt, they dont have any strength in there jaws. Red ear slider hurt pretty good. I just went to the tournament to see the fish. Ive caught a few in the 45# range and my biggest is 63#. We fry them up. These are one of the most common species in my area. They are similar to Bullfrog but are called Green Frogs.
